“Is it an organization,
or a revelation that
Jesus called the
church?”
The Church Model, Moving by Grace through LOVE!
•
The 5-fold Was Given To The Body, Not The Body To The 5-fold.
o
A Pastor should not be the one exalted in the pulpit, but a leader that’s on
the floor with the 5-fold, amongst the Body, following the leading of the Holy
Spirit and making sure that every gift has expression. The focus is not on
the 5-fold, but on the Body and its growth in Christ. This cannot be done in
a mega church, unless there are strong sub-cells that mimic small settings.
This is why cell groups have been so successful.
o
When the 5-fold remains amongst the Body, allowing meetings to be Spirit-
led, then members of the Body do not feel less or more important than the
others.
o
Giving all the gifts in the Body the ability to express themselves will
encourage the Body to grow.
•
Worship Should Be A Beautiful Expression Of Grace -Not
Works.
o
Musicians should not be limited to one team but be an influx and outflow of
various people with all types of musical expressions to glorify the Lord.
This is accomplished by the 5-fold in a symphony of love to our Father
God.
o
Worship is an expression of love towards our King when all our cares are
cast upon Him. This is not intercession, but an exchange when God takes
our cares and then the Spirit of Christ which is in us is ‘experienced’ from
the inward to the outward.
o
We are not coming into His gates with Thanksgiving and into His courts
with praise, we have the fullness of Christ within us and do not need to
travel anywhere to be one with Him. We have to get out of the Old
Testament and realize that the Holy of Holies is within us. His promise was
to not leave us or forsake us!
o
We do not have to initiate revival through worship or bring God down. This
is erroneous teaching. It causes worship to be works oriented and brings
frustration to the musicians. Christ is in us, the hope of Glory!
•
Intercession Must Be Redefined.
o
We have been taught that intercession is the laying down of one’s life to
beseech God for things like revival, forgiveness, to turn away His wrath,
salvation of the lost.
▪
Jesus gave His life and through His gift that pacified the wrath of
God, we have:
1.
Forgiveness - By asking, not begging
2.
Salvation - By proclamation of the gospel
3.
Revival - Through the expression of Christ in us
o
For these reasons, much of what we deem intercession, is resolved
through action.
Giving
o
New Testament believers are no longer under the law of tithing. They
should give as their heart purposes. They should give joyfully and be led
by the Holy Spirit.
o
Giving should never be taught as a law. This becomes ritual, routine,
legalistic and religious. Giving is relational, Tithing is ritual/under the law.
•
Evangelism
o
Evangelism is the duty of EVERY believer as they encounter their day - to
look for those who need prayer, healing, comfort or financial assistance.
We have been commissioned to make disciples. This is done through
investment of your time.
o
When we rely on the organized church to do everything, we tend to close
our eyes to our personal responsibility to watch everywhere we go for
those we can help.
o
Evangelism should be the primary election of the church and the
underlying focus of much of what is taught. This mobilizes believers to
follow the great commission in their everyday lives.
o
“They SHALL lay hands on the sick and they SHALL recover”. This is not a
suggestion. Believers do not have to wait for an anointing to pray for the
sick. Christ is in us and we ARE anointed with His anointing. We don’t
need more, we are equipped to do “greater works”.
o
We are admonished to “give to every man who asks of you“. You do not
have the luxury of passing by a man or woman with a sign. You are to give
freely and with a joyful heart. We are not told to judge what that person will
do with our money. We are told to give.
o
The widow, the fatherless, the stranger, the prisoner - These four are
people God made provision for and desires that we help them in whatever
capacity we can.
The AWAKENED Church.
OUR MISSION:
•
To connect people and
resources and to
motivate the sons of
God to do the works
Jesus commissioned us
to.
•
To encourage, uplift
and strengthen
believers in LOVE.
•
To expose the lies of
the enemy, religion and
hypocrisy.
•
To focus on the rise of
the true church and the
manifestation of the
Sons of God.
WHAT IS NOT OUR MISSION:
•
To make money
•
To build a “ministry”
•
To ask for money
•
To self-promote
We don’t attack any person
as that is not the character
of Christ.
Sons of God, it’s time to be
who you were created to be!
“If you are not
praying for the
sick, casting
out devils and
setting the
captives free...
it’s time”
